This is a view looking out to sea across from some famous white cliffs known as the Seven Sisters in England. It was based on photos and sketches done during a day out walking out there and observing many people with their dogs. I noted the sense of companiable contenment that follows such walks and this was the feeling is what I wanted to capture here - as well as the sense of space and sea air that is so notable in places like this.
It is painted in Artist quality Oils on Gallery wrap canvas - meaning that the work continues round the sides and has a 3D effect, so doesn't require framing. You can frame however if desired, and floating frames or box frames would work well with this one. Colours are clear and vivid, just as they were that day. I hope this painting will bring a sense of space and far vistas to any room in which it is hung.

My only dilemma being, I’m not sure where it’s going to live, lounge, hallway or bedroom. I’ve moved it twice already 🤣. I guess I’ll just have to get ‘ Tiger lily ‘ a friend soon. Thanks again !

Wow, so happy with this gorgeous piece! This painting is even more beautiful in real life than the photos. The verdant tones of the landscape are incredibly vibrant and lush, and the fur of the leopard looks so soft and fluffy looking in person I feel like stroking it!!! Love it :) he’s nicely at home on my living room wall and brings a nice slice of nature and wildlife into the house. Thanks so much
