Description

This listing is for a limited edition giclee Fine Art print by award-winning Scottish film-maker and artist, David Brodie.

The subject of the painting is the Duke of Wellington Equestrian Statue, which is a familiar sight to anyone who has lived, worked, or studied in Glasgow. It is based outside the GOMA gallery in Queen St, Glasgow.

Rarely seen without his traffic cone hat, the 'Duke' sits silently watching the comings and goings of the passers by.

This unique and quirky wall decor piece is a strictly limited edition comprising 100 prints of each of the following three finished paper sizes -

A4 (8.3 x 11.7 inches, 210 x 297 mm)

A3 (11.7 x 16.5 inches, 297 x 420 mm)

A3+ (13 x 19 inches, 329 x 483 m)

Each print is signed and dated by the artist, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Each print is inclusive of a border for aid in framing and matting.

Each piece is printed on Hahnemule Fine Art Baryta Satin 300 gsm paper by the artist himself in his studio.

Please note, that the watermark in the photo will not appear on your finished print.

This is a beautiful print, especially for those who love Leonard Cohen. The detail, pulled from the late Mr. Cohens work, is perfect. I absolutely love it!

The service and communication was outstanding. The whole experience purchasing this item was very enjoyable, and of course, I am so happy to display the print along with other Leonard Cohen items I have collected.

I placed the order last Sunday and it arrived by first-class mail, signed for, on Tuesday. It was very securely packaged, with additional interior protective coverings (stiff board and bubble-wrap), and beautifully gift-wrapped with a personal note from the artist. The print itself is magnificent, a high-quality, high-resolution, high-colour print on top-quality paper. It captures a look of Cohen I hadn't seen before - the now famous fedora look, but way back in about 1980. It's now framed and on proud display on my sitting-room wall. I'm a big Leonard Cohen fan and will be on the look-out for more work from brodyquixote. Well done, Davy!!
