Bird of prey, eagle necklace, falcon necklace, raptor necklace, hawk, buzzard, harrier, kestrel solid silver necklace, 3d pendant.

Birds of prey or raptors are found all over the world and include species of falcon, eagle, hawk, buzzard, harrier, kite and kestrel. All of which are birds that hunt or feeds on other animals.
The term raptor is derived from the Latin word rapere, meaning to seize or take by force. Birds of prey have keen vision, as well as powerful talons and beaks, which has seen them promoted as a powerful symbol of mythology and folklore.

This substantial, solid sterling silver pendant is a life-like representation of a raptor. The bird’s wingspan measures 4.5 cm, which is one and three quarters of an inch. The silver has been oxidised to illustrate the details and then given a bright finish on the raptor’s lighter patches.

It is sold as a pendant on a waxed cord. If you would prefer to buy a chain to wear it on. please visit the chains section of my shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ArgentAqua?ref=hdr_shop_menu§ion_id=19320750
