Description

NEW! NATURAL DYE COTTON YARN - PALE PINK - 100g / 3.5oz
This bulky cotton yarn in a soft, natural dye palette is handspun, and then plied with a fine cotton thread to give the yarn stability and a subtle, ridged texture. It is great for chunky knits and crochet, or for adding texture to woven wall hangings, and other fiber art projects.

- yarn thickness: 7-8wpi (wraps per inch)
- handwash in warm water, mild soap, dry flat
- this yarn is dyed with COCHINEAL

This yarn is handspun and dyed for me in Peru. The thickness of each yarn will vary slightly, depending on the technique of the individual spinner.
The yarn colours are colourfast, however, as with any textile that is exposed to strong sunlight, if you store or display this yarn or your finished work in strong sunlight for long periods you should expect a degree of fading.

Returns and exchange details

I hope that you will love your purchase, but I understand that sometimes something just isn't right.  If you wish to return something I will be happy to offer an exchange or refund, but please contact me by email at liz.ananuca@gmail.com within fourteen days of receiving your goods to arrange return. Returned items will only be accepted unused, undamaged and in perfect condition within twenty one days of the purchase date. Please obtain proof of posting from the Post Office. Goods are returned at the purchaser's own cost. The delivery charge and any import duties paid on the original order are non-refundable.  Refunds will be issued in the same way that payment was made. For example, if you paid by card the refund will go to the same card that the payment was made on.

Items that are returned to me without prior communication will be treated as unauthorised cancellations and will not automatically be eligible for refund.

This also applies to items which are returned to me by the postal service due to non-delivery. All international orders are shipped with online tracking and I urge customers to check the status of their parcel in the case of delayed delivery and to contact me (and the local postal service) as soon as possible after delivery was expected so that we can work together to resolve any problems in a timely manner.
If you are not at home when delivery was attempted please follow instructions on the card left and make all reasonable attempts to re-schedule delivery with the local postal service.
I cannot consider an item for refund whilst tracking shows that the item is at the local postal depot awaiting customer instructions for re-delivery.

Cancellations: I have a four hour cancellation window. This is because I aim to ship orders as quickly as possible, sometimes on the same day that the order is received.

EU Delivery:

United States Delivery:

FAQ:
What do you mean by 'rustic' frames?
My weaving frames are not made in a factory, but by my husband David. He uses reclaimed or scrap pine wherever possible, and I like how the characterful irregularities of the wood complement our rustic yarns. So, please expect some degree of 'imperfection' in the finishes - it is intentional. The frames are very sturdy, but the wood may have pronounced knots, or unevenness of surface. The back of the frame is simply nailed and glued, but all of this is out of sight.

I have never woven before, will I be able to manage one of your kits?
All of my kits come with detailed instructions with photographs. Each kits will specify the skill level within the description.
My beginner kits are suitable for absolute beginners (including children, with adult help) - you will learn a few basic techniques, which you will then have the opportunity to practice with the different textured yarns included. These kits should take roughly 2-4 hours to complete.
My beginner-intermediate kits are still suitable for beginners, but the techniques involved will be a little more fiddly with more involved instructions, so really it is a case of deciding if you are a beginner with nimble fingers and plenty of patience! Expect to take 4-6 hours to complete one of these kits.

COLOUR REPRESENTATION:
I do my best to represent the true colours of the yarn, but please be aware that colours may vary between my monitor and yours.

BESPOKE ORDERS:
I am happy to make bespoke orders in colour and dimensions of your choice. Please contact me for details. Normal turnaround speed for yarns and kits is 3-5 days depending on availability of yarns. PLANTS: My handspun Chilean yarns are spun in the home. The women wash, comb and prepare the raw sheeps' fleece themselves. Some of my yarns are also plant dyed. You will expect to find small pieces of plant debris tangled in the wool fibres. A certain amount of dirt and plant debris may come out of the wool on washing. Colour fastness is not affected.
If you do have any concerns/questions, please ask before you order!
