Description

Cute Candy Necklace - this is Candice. She may look sweet, but this girl is hard boiled!

The transparent acrylic necklace is printed with my illustration of Candice, the striped sweetie in a cellophane wrapper. It measures approximately 1.5 inches across and comes strung on an 18 inch chain in a choice of sterling silver or antique gold tone. Both chains fasten with a lobster clasp and are lead and nickel free.

The necklace will arrive wrapped in tissue paper, this item does not come in a gift box in order to keep postage costs down.

Returns & exchanges

I really hope that all my customers will be thrilled with their purchase. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your order you may return it to me in its original condition and with its original packaging. You must inform me of your intent to return the item within 14 days of receiving it and return the item within 14 days of sending notification of withdrawal. I will refund the cost of the order minus any extra shipping cost (eg. if you have opted for a shipping upgrade the extra cost of the upgrade will not be refunded) within fourteen days of receiving the return, or within fourteen days of receipt of evidence from the customer that they have returned the item. Where only part of the order is returned the full shipping cost will not be refunded, only the item cost and the relevant associated shipping cost as appropriate. The buyer will be responsible for the cost of return delivery, and you are strongly advised this should be trackable, insured post, particularly in the case of high value items, as I will not be able to refund any order not received without suitable proof of postage. If the item does not arrive in its original condition with its original packaging (gift box etc) through the fault of the customer a full refund will not be made, a suitable deduction will be made from the refund amount to cover costs incurred. International returns MUST indicate that this is a returned purchase, failure to do so may mean that customs charges are incurred, for which you (the buyer) will be responsible, and this will be deducted from any refund given.

For hygiene reasons earrings are non-returnable.

Cancellation - you have 14 days from the date of purchase in which you may cancel your order, however if the item has already shipped the above terms apply. If the item has not yet been shipped cancellation of an order should be made via the Etsy cancellation system, or you can inform me in writing via an Etsy Convo and I will instigate the cancellation process for you. In the case of orders which involve services including, but not limited to, sketches or physical samples of materials etc a deduction for the cost of the services rendered may be applied.

Due to their individual and bespoke nature, custom items are exempt from cancellation and are non-returnable. However, please still feel free to contact me regarding any issues with custom orders so I can advise of possible options.

Repairs Policy- Every piece that I make is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, and will hopefully give you joy for a long time to come. However, some of my items are rather delicate and may be damaged by rough handling and improper care. In the unlikely event that your order does become damaged within the first year (provided the damage is minor, repairable, and you haven't done something really silly to it!) I would be happy to repair it free of charge- you will just need to pay for the postage both ways. Please contact me before returning items for repair so that I can assess the damage! If you don't want to pay postage and don't mind having a go at fixing it yourself please feel free to contact me for tips and advice- no matter how long ago you purchased the item!

Most items with a value between £20-£50 will be sent via Royal Mail Recorded Signed For, and most items with a value above £50 will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. For overseas customers items below the value of £20 will be posted via Royal Mail Airmail, and items above this value will be posted via Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed to all countries where this service is available.

Please note- due to the new Royal Mail postage system, it can be difficult to work out the added cost of postage should you order more than one item. The amount stated is the maximum you will pay, and I will refund any overcharged postage costs to you. Please contact me if you are interested in buying more than one item, and I can advise a more accurate postage cost based on the items you intend to order, and even set up a custom listing with the correct shipping costs if you wish to order.

FAQs

There are long lead times on needle felted and cake topper orders for a number of reasons:

-I like to set realistic timescales, so that I don't disappoint my customers.

-I will often be working on a number of orders at any one time, so won't usually be able to get started on making yours immediately.

-Whilst I would love to be able to make things all day every day, that just isn't the reality of my life! I work a 'normal' job part-time to pay my mortgage and support my family, and I obviously like to spend time with my husband and daughter too!

-I also add a little 'contingency' time, as life with a young child can be unpredictable!
If you are ordering for a Birthday or special occasion please contact me before ordering to see if I can get it done in time.

If there is still a reasonable amount of time to produce the order I can sometimes manage to get it to you a little faster, but this will depend entirely on whatever else is going on in my life and where you need the order shipped to. Whilst I like to try to be as helpful as I can, I can't work miracles and it's sometimes better to be realistic about these things!
I am open to accepting payment for an expedited service, but you will need to contact me before ordering to see if this is possible.

If I can get your order made in time without having to rearrange my schedule then I will not need to charge you extra to get your order to you in time, we can agree a new dispatch date and you can order as normal.

If I need to set aside time specifically to get your order made in time then this will be arranged as a custom order with an additional charge added for the express service. The additional charge will usually be 50% of the item cost eg. a £40 order will be £60 if express.

If there is no way I can get your order made in time- with or without the express service charge, I will advise of this.
Yes- if you place an order worth £20 or above, and you know it won't arrive in time, I can provide a free email copy of a personalised letter in my own branding, which you can print out and give to them on the day instead. Just let me know you would like this service and provide relevant details.

I price my work based on a number of factors including material costs and overheads (energy costs, insurance costs- all those fun things that many buyers forget to consider!) and most importantly my time, which is actually incredibly precious to me as it's in very short supply! The pieces I make are often extremely labour intensive, and if I offered them for any less I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living in the UK. Whilst I do appreciate my customers a whole lot, I don't think I love you quite enough to not be able to afford my bills and mortgage, so I won't be offering discounts. Besides- if you're not willing to pay a fair price for it, then do you honestly love it as much as you say you do?
