Gorgeous little kingfisher cross stitch / embroidery pattern, this cute little birdy is in his leafy environment with yellow flowers.
He would fit nicely into a card and only takes about an hour to stitch so would be a lovely gift for a bird lover's birthday.

I bought this along with the little robin and I love them both! They were a nice quick project. Patterns are clear and easy to follow. This was my first time doing a partial stitch, however the download came with some tips on how to do it which helped. I used ivory colored aida instead of white to match the colors of the birds better, which I would recommend.

This was a quick little stitch, but has quite a few fractional stitches that are a hassle. The finished product is adorable though and the giftee loves it!
