A watercolour painting of Viking Bay, Broadstairs on a glorious October morning. The sun was just visible over the jetty, which was largely silhouetted. Funnily enough it was this that made me want to paint the scene. I got the tide wrong in this instance. Thought it was going out and had to move back up the beach halfway through the painting.
The watercolour painting was painted on site with quality non fade pigments on heavyweight rag paper.
Image size 13 x 18 inches
I usually frame this size in 16 x 20 in ready made frames which are available in many stores.

Been looking for a hand painted scene of Switzerland. When I came across this, I knew it would be prefect. When it arrived it was even more beautiful than expected and packaged with care. Framed and hanging in our living room now!

Beautiful watercolor of the picturesque Douro River valley in Portugal. Despite the distance, the item arrived quickly as the artist shipped almost immediately. Very fine art at a very reasonable price! Looking forward to framing and enjoying for many years to come!

We are a little disappointed in the watercolor. The depiction of a dark cloud in the upper left corner doesn’t blend well with the green mountain side. The photograph of the watercolor looked much better online . However we will have it framed and enjoy it as a reminder of our vacation to Portugal. In addition, The wrong address was used on the shipping container and it took two weeks to arrive through the postal system.
