Day of the Ancestors:
This images is a response to the 'Day of the Dead'. Customs all over the world that celebrate their ancestors. This image is a an attempt to reignite the forgotten culture ancient culture of Albion (England). The symbols in the background are from rock art (petroglyphs) three to seven thousand years old and some much older.
I painted dots within the original image as to me this illustrated early creativity, using sticks and organic natural colour to decorate and create. The Aborigine people of Australia use brightly painted dots and indigenous symbolism within their Dream-time paintings and rock art.

Awesome abstract Interpretation with subtle use of color that depicts the monolithic upright stones of Stenness, Scotland. I was reminded of Stonehenge too. I had this print framed and double matted to draw out the swirling blues in the moonlit skies and the uneven grey texture of the Stones, while the wide black frame highlights the lower black ridges upon which the Stones rest and reside. The framing really adds volumes to this beautiful artwork. Quick shipping from the UK to the USA, Arrived intact in pristine condition in a poster tube. Proudly displayed in my home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a striking design and the colours are wonderful. I love contemplating our ancestors when I drink from it too. We have sis of these mugs in different designs and love them all. The mugs are a good size and, unlike many mugs, have nice big handles that don't hurt your fingers. Wonderful. Thank you.

Just lovely. I have the shamanic bee print too and the reproduction quality of the image on this mug is excellent. The only downside is that it causes bickering between me and my husband over who will use it each day! The mugs are lovely too; a good size and the handles are comfortably large. Thank you.

VERY well packaged for it's long trip across the pond. Absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do the artwork justice, this Awen is stunning. It makes my little druid heart sing <3
