Description

Byron Embroidery Design, Boxer Dog embroidery design, dog embroidery, pdf pattern download, embroidery hoop art, modern embroidery pattern

***INSTANT DOWNLOAD***

This is a pdf download of a hand embroidery pattern to create Byron the Boxer Dog. He measures approximately 20cm (8 inches) high and 14cm (5 1/2 inches) wide. He is worked in basic embroidery stitches and can be enjoyed by stitchers of all levels (except, perhaps, complete beginners). A pictorial guide to the stitches suggested in the pattern is included in the instructions.

This is a pdf hand embroidery pattern written in English. The file contains four pages including a colour photograph of the design for reference, instructions on transferring the pattern to fabric, a guide to basic stitches, a full size pattern of Byron to trace, and a diagrammatic stitch guide to help you to complete the design.

You will need suitable fabric to work on. My picture shows the design worked on to unbleached cotton calico. You will also need an embroidery needle, stranded cotton (I have suggested colours and given DMC references for the threads that I used), and a 9 inch embroidery hoop to keep the work taut while stitching. The hoop also provides a great and inexpensive way of displaying the portrait once you have finished. A post on finishing embroidery work can be found on my blog via the following link if you would like some guidance https://nickybarfoot.wordpress.com/2018/11/06/how-to-finish-and-frame-hoop-art/

The pdf download is designed to be printed on A4 paper and will be available to you once payment has been received.
