All my items are made with stainless steel wherever possible. All metal elements that are not stainless steel are coated with EverBrite ProtectaClear coating, which is an invisible anti-tarnish, allergy safe coating. The beads I use are always Austrian or Czech crystal or glass.

All the bones I use in my creations are ethically sourced. I absolutely do not support any individual who sells the bones of animals that were killed for this purpose. All animals either died naturally or were put down due to unavoidable circumstances such as sickness. I know where every bone I use came from, so if you want to know the history of the bones used in a specific piece, you are welcome to ask and I will tell you!

I make the beaded chokers to fit me so that I can photograph them. When you order, please provide me with the length you want the necklace and I will adjust it to ensure that it's a perfect fit, otherwise they will be sent as is. The length is specified in each product listing.

All orders from 4 January 2024 onwards are shipped shipped with tracking via BPost. Orders placed before this date in Europe do not have any tracking information unless the customer paid extra for tracked shipping. Orders outside of Europe were always sent with tracking.

Please note that once an item is shipped, I have no control over how long it takes to arrive.

I generally ship twice a week. So it could mean that your order is shipped the same day if you ordered something small, but if you ordered something bigger that takes more time to prepare, it will be shipped at the beginning of the following week.

Important note: I work full time. Ayame Designs is only my part-time job. If I am busy at work it will take longer for me to send your order. I adjust my processing times to reflect the most accurate current processing time depending on my workload, number of orders, and whether I am preparing stock for a festival or convention.

My nose / lip to ear chain sizing is "one size fits most", but that's why I offer custom lengths at no additional cost! Everyone's face is different, so the chain might hang different on your own face than on my pictures. If you want to me 100% sure that it will fit the way you want, you can measure the length you need with a string and add it to your order. Be sure to include whether you measured including or excluding the attachments on the ends!
