This toothy monster is a storage basket, here to look after your stuff, and scare away intruders! The head is a lid that comes off to put things inside. He has boggly eyes, lots of teeth, green horns and a long swishy tail.
It makes a great project basket for crochet; but for non-yarn obsessed people it can be a laundry basket, toy storage, somewhere to put Lego so you don't step on it, a place to keep post and papers until you've sorted them, or general thingamabob container.
It is hand crocheted in chunky acrylic yarn in various shades of blue, green and purple. The body/basket is approximately 26 cm (10inches) in diameter, and 23 cm (9 inches) tall. It is hand or machine washable. In a machine, put it inside a laundry bag or knotted pillowcase, and wash on a gentle cycle at a low temperature (30C or less). Leave to air dry.
