Retro Cushion Cover

We have had our fat lava lamp for many years but sadly the lampshade did not stand the test of time. We kept the lamp and the old lampshade in the hope that one day we could find a replacement shade. We tried several places but none looked like the original. I found PoppetRetro on Etsy by chance. The photos of the shades Ali makes seemed to be exactly what we wanted. I contacted Ali and gave her the measurements of our original shade along with a photograph. Ali suggested a fabric that was very close to the original so I placed the order. A week later our shade arrived. It was well packaged in a sturdy returnable plastic box. I have put the shade on the lamp and it looks amazing. The quality of the shade is excellent and we are extremely happy with it. We would definitely recommend PoppetRetro.

We had purchased a few lamps and shades from Ali before, and were searching for a Teal coloured shade for a vintage lamp we have. Ali gladly sent some swatches of vintage material she had and after choosing one, she custom made this beautiful shade. All of the lamps and shades we have from Poppet Retro are well made, well packaged for delivery and completely fit the part. I’m sure we’ll continue to shop here, we love their work

I absolutely love this lamp shade, love the material and it’s well made too, and looks lovely in my living room. Not the sellers fault, but yodel’s delivery left a lot to be desired…they left it outside my front door in the pouring rain without letting me know (I was in). When I found it on my doorstep the next day, it was absolutely soaked, luckily it dried out without any damage. There were 2 dents in my lampshade though where they obviously hadn’t treated it delicately (even though it was labelled as fragile). These don’t show up that much luckily. Amazing product but really disappointed in how it got to me.
