biodegradable cello, high quality ink, A4 watercolour paper

These sweet little hedgehogs are African Pygmy Hedgehogs and they’re called Bramble and Winnie. 💜 This is an A4 print from the digital artwork I’ve made of these beauties.

Here are some Hedgehog facts from Bramble's Mummy:

Their life expectancy is 4 to 6 years.
They do not hibernate like our UK natives.
They are Nocturnal but are ok with coming out to interact with you during the day, just might be a little more huffy.
They have poor eyesight but they have an excellent sence of smell and can be sensitive to loud sounds.
Their diet consists of live bugs... worms, crickets, cockroaches. Fresh fruit and veg!
Sounds.... they can make a faint squeak/twittering noise. Huff/grunt/snort when unhappy.
Anointing..... This is where they find a taste/smell of something then recreate it in their saliva then cover their quills in it.
Little is known about why they do it some think in the wild it's a defensive move covering their quills with poison from toads.
As a pet they require a large vivarium with a controlled temperature, soft fleece bedding with places to bury and hide. A large running wheel. The wheel and vivarium will need daily cleaning along with fresh water daily. They need regular shallow foot baths and their nails clipped. 💜

I have painted this digitally, on my iPad, and many happy hours have gone into its creation!

When you order this piece I will print it for you onto beautiful A4 sized watercolour type paper that has a lovely textured surface. I use high quality inks so your print will last for many years. Before shipping, I'll put it safely into a biodegradable cellophane bag that you can either use again or pop into your compost heap if you have one or since it is made of vegetable starch it is safe to go into landfill as it will break down over time and turn into CO2 and water. Then, it’ll go into a board backed envelope to keep it flat while it makes its way to you!

If you'd like to see regular updates from me you can follow me on social media where I post regularly. You'll see what I've been making, little snippets of my life and the occasional puppy photo! 😊

This seller usually responds within a few hours.

I'm very happy to accept custom orders: Either something new or something for sale that you like but would prefer in a different colour!

Please contact me to discuss your ideas and I will do my best to help you bring them to life. :)
Needle felted items can become fuzzy if handled, please bare in mind that they are meant for displaying only and not meant to be played with.

You can trim your item carefully with a small pair of scissors if you need to to neaten it up!
Your needle felted item/s will be carefully wrapped and packed by myself in a little paper bag with washi tape and then placed into a postal box with some tissue paper.

Your pin orders will be packed into a small box so it can fit through your letterbox! It'll have custom wrapping paper and pretty washi tape decorations.

We don’t have a post office in our village anymore, but a few times a week a post office van visits so I can usually post your orders on a Monday and Tuesday. Please be patient with me if I haven’t managed to ship your order as soon as you’d hoped, I am doing my best with the facilities I have available. 💜
Shipping costs are usually included in the sale price so the price you see is the price you'll pay!

This differs for Enamel Pins and small items where shipping costs are different if you live outside the U.K. I keep this price as low as I can to give you a great deal!

I send all international orders as standard delivery which offers no tracking options and takes longer to arrive. (2-3 weeks usually.) If you'd like to be able to track your parcel and have a faster delivery please choose to upgrade your shipping when checking out. :) This usually takes 7-10 days.

Our local post office has closed down but a post office van comes around a few days a week so I can usually ship your items on a Monday and Tuesday.
If you live outside of the UK and your parcel hasn’t arrived yet please wait until 6 weeks have passed as it might just be delayed! Quite often a parcel will take a little longer to get to you as the postal services are very busy, but if 6 weeks have passed and it still hasn’t arrived I will send you another one, if possible, or give you a refund.
