Super easy to follow pattern. My first time trying tapestry crochet and it was a breeze. I used a number 4 yarn woth the reccomended hook. I wish I would have used a 5mm hook then I wouldn't have to make a ton of extra squares. But with a 4 weight and a 3.5 hook it makes an 8 x 8 square (40 x 32" finished blanket if you follow the pattern). But really no complaints otherwise. Can't wait to complete this project. ♡

I'm would say I'm just slightly more experienced than a beginner, and this is the first pattern I've ever bought. It is beautiful! I am only 3 squares in, but I managed to work it with 4 colors instead of just 2. The speckles likely show through more this way, but I LOVE IT!
