Description

This listing is for the PDF digital tutorial for the "Fire Dragon" Wrap, an original design inspired by Kate McKinnon's book, Contemporary Geometric Beadwork, and my previous "Sea Dragon" Wrap designs. Shown as a collar, it can also be created as a wrist wrap by substituting 15/0 seed beads for the Delica beads used in the Foundation Band and Neckband (Delica beads are used for the Winged and Horned portions of either Wrap) and by inserting 1.75mm memory wire instead of the 2.25 memory wire used in the collar. This design would be stunning worn either way, but I think worn as a collar it is most dramatic and that’s how I’ve chosen to wear mine! The easy to follow tutorial contains large color photos of every step along the way. You'll learn how to create the tiny dragon’s head and make the mold as well, but if you choose not to go down that path, there are other ways to finish the ends of memory wire by adding beads and coiling the ends of the wire. The "Fire Dragon" Wrap is a fun and challenging project recommended for the intermediate to advanced beader.

Loved the color wheel. Bought as a gift for a fellow beading friend to kick off our bead retreat weekend. She loved the fantastic color selections.
