A pair of rimmed bowls, from the popular Greendawn range by Johnson Brothers, in soft green with scalloped petal edges. Small size suitable for dessert, cereal or starters.

Johnson Brothers are an English pottery from Staffordshire. They made four 'dawn' ranges in different colours - gray, rose, green, and golden. These coloured clays were introduced the 1920s and were popular for decades.

This kind of plain coloured tableware is often called 'utility china'. It is both hardwearing and pretty, and dishwasher proof!
