This is the third of three fade sets I've dyed up for Yarndale 2019. I'm listing a small number here in advance of the show. This listing will be removed on August 31st and any remaining sets will go to Yarndale.

Available as a set at a discount on buying three skeins separately.

Fade set? I chose the colour palette and mixed the dye colours then used different concentrations of each to produce three related colourways. They could be used to make a large shawl starting with the palest whisper colourway, and working down to the more saturated thunder colourway, or in any combination that you like. This set also goes really nicely with Primrose and Aqua, semi tonals on the same base (see the separate listings).

100% British wool, ethically produced and fully traceable in a fingering/sport weight. Not superwash treated; worsted spun in the UK using fleece from merino sheep that graze on the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic

Hand dyed in East Yorkshire. using professional acid dyes manufactured in South Yorkshire to produce colours that are a delight to work with and to use.

Base: 100% British Falkland merino fingering

Colourway: Brienne thunder, Brienne Melody and Brienne whisper. Bold and strong, like Brienne of Tarth x

This is ultra soft and feels beautifully smooth. Perfect for shawls, cowls, hats and garments. Note - this yarn is NOT superwash and finished items need to be handwashed in cool water.

3 x 100g (approx) skeins with approx 400 metres of yarn each - so 1200 metres in the set.

Dyed in small batches using professional acid milling dyes. The dyes are fully exhausted in the dye bath then the skeins are washed and rinsed until no colour remains in the rinsing water. However, to keep the colours looking as fresh as possible, hand wash your finished item in lukewarm water using a mild wool wash product with a slightly acid pH. Do not soak. A slight amount of colour bleed may occur in the first few washes so always wash separately.

Even when a colourway is repeated, and even when dyed in the same batch variations may occur so alternating skeins for big projects is advisable.

If you opt for standard delivery, your parcel is insured for up to £20 in the event of loss but the claims process can then take a further 28 working days. If you opt for tracked and signed for services with additional insurance, your parcel will be insured for its actual value. Again, the claims process can take 28 working days. If I can replace and resend I will make every effort to do so but only if the sum insured will compensate me for the second package.
If your parcel has not arrived within 7 working days (UK), 14 working days (EU) or 21 working days (Rest of World) of receiving your shipping notification please contact me. I can then update you on the time required until we can claim for parcel lost during shipping.
I rarely have parcels that get lost during shipping but it can happen. To reduce the risk, please make sure that your address is correct when you place your order. I reserve the right to convo you with a request to confirm or resupply a correct address if I notice any potential problems. This is particularly necessary when I ship a parcel outside the UK. If I do not receive a reply, or you do not confirm your shipping address within 7 days, I will cancel the order.
Due to problems with one isolated order, I now require all correspondence to be in English to avoid misunderstandings. You can use Google translate to convert your message and then please check it with a native English speaker. I am not able to spend the additional time required to do that when processing orders. Thank you for your understanding.
Due to the long delays on parcels sent by standard shipping to Canada it is with regret that I can now only send items with the International Tracked and signed for service to Canada. Even this is not ideal as tracking does not work once the item has left the UK as their is no reciprocal tracking information available in the Canadian system.
