Retro Lamp - Original Mid-Century Paper

This stunning lamp is hand-turned from beautiful iroko wood with a light, nearly matt oil finish. The electrical fitting has an height adjuster so you can sit the lampshade on the base or slightly above to let some light out. We recommend using a low energy bulb - if you are not please see the important guide below.

The lamp measures 20cm in diameter and 3cm tall.

The gorgeous, extra tall lampshade, also handmade, has original, 1960's wallpaper and finished to a high quality. The gorgeous wallpaper has a really lovely design.

Lampshade measures 20cm diameter by 49cm tall.

Together they create a gorgeously simple piece which would look lovely in most rooms!

Colours can appear different on different devices and monitors so the actual colour may vary slightly to the one in the picture.

Please be aware that the fabric I use is genuinely from the 60s, 70s and 80s and therefore often 40-50 years old so while I do my very best to ensure the products are of the highest quality the fabric may not look like it just came out of a haberdashery. My products are all beautiful one offs!

You may not receive the one in the picture but if not, it will be very similar.

The panel used in the lampshade has been tested in the Lighting Association Laboratories and has passed the glow wire test which is the British Standard for Luminaries. The electrical components are supplied by LampSpares. In particular the CLC pre-wired cable set including moulded plug, twin flex and in-line switch. These come ready assembled and tested, and comply with both CE mark and Kite (BSI) mark compliance. The lamp holder is non-metallic and does not require an earth connection. The lamp holders are made by Arditi and are small ES (Edison Screw) fittings ideal for a wide range of 240v ac LED lamps.
