Glues: Static Grass Basing Glue and Layering Spray

Our Static Grass Basing Glue is fast drying and bonds to the baseboard, giving you a hard-wearing coat that will stand up to the day to day wear and tear. Start with a layer of Basing Glue and 2mm static grass.

You will need our Static Grass Layering Spray to build up the next stage of grass without flattening the grass you just laid. You can do as many layers as you want until you reach the length required. Work from the smallest (2mm) to the longest (12mm max).

We produce mainly two applicators. The Pro Grass Applicator that comes with three heads for all grass lengths (1-12mm). Or our entry-level Pro Grass Micro. It has the standard size head that will allow you to do 2-6mm.

How to use them?

We suggest you work in small areas. Using a good strong glue, we recommend our Basing Glue, pour the glue onto the board, use a brush to spread, covering the area you want to grass.

Fill your hopper halfway with your chosen colour of 2mm grass. Keep the crocodile clip near the area you want to grass. Switch on the applicator hold it about 1-3 inches above your glued area and gently shake it to cover it with static grass.

Use the layering spray to build layers and repeat the same process.
