Beautiful, uniquely Scottish design. Easy to download and easy pattern to read (considering how big it is). The pattern indicates that using DMC embroidery thread will give a different result - and it is true. But it is not a bad result at all. The only issue was two shades of blue in the water at the bottom which turned out to be almost identical in DMC. I opted not to stitch the clouds, as they were barely noticeable on the oatmeal-coloured aida I used. Very happy with the result. Will be really thrilled to give this to my Dad (personalised with a verse at the top) for his birthday!

Loved doing this pattern for a special little boy in my life. Easy to follow pattern. My first cross stitch in over twenty years. So pleased with the results

I've been coming back to this design over and over, and finally decided to go ahead and buy it. The colors and the extended perspective really capture the feeling of being in the Highlands, and will remind me of my trips to one of my favorite places on Earth! Can't wait to stitch it.
