Vintage from the 1960s

A vintage handmade/mouth blown Holmegaard glass decanter. I believe it was designed by Jacob Bang. It's clear with a very very slight hint of blue. It's also very slightly wonky.

Holmegaard first started making the Kluk Kluk in 1840 and revived the style in 1960, so circa 1960s or 1970s vintage. It is known as the Kluk Kluk (in Danish) or Glug Glug (in English) decanter due to the sound it makes when it is poured. Distinctive pinched middle, squarish shaped (low capacity - designed for a smaller amounts of the top-notch spirits). Original round stopper. Stopper has ground down end, and the inside of the neck is ground down too so it forms a good seal.

27cm tall x 8cm wide max. Excellent lightly used condition. No chips, sharp edges, nibbles etc. No obvious scratches. Some slight marks internally from washing it - it's a nightmare to clean and dry! Perfect for display or use. Iconic mid century Scandinavian design, very good for the age and era.

Items weighing under 2kg total will be posted by 2nd class Royal Mail. If it's a high value item I'll add Signed For. Items weighing over 2kg will be posted by Hermes, and if they are high value I'll add Signed For. I may not be able to post to some areas of the UK, such as the Channel Islands, but I'll give it a good go! I'll try to post within 24 hours (when Post Office opening hours allow).
All postage abroad will be by Royal Mail's International Tracked and Signed service, so will need signing for your end. Please say if you'd prefer just a Tracked service instead. I can't post anything that weighs over 2kg or is larger than a 'small parcel'.
I have specially chosen these items to be of superior quality and condition for their age and era. All my items are vintage (25+ years old) and may naturally have some wear and tear which may not be in the description. I have written everything to the best of my ability, and tried to describe any obvious flaws. The photos also help to show the condition - please view all photos and read the descriptions.
For lower value items I'm happy for you to provide the address and unique code for a UK onward mailing company, but I cannot accept responsibility for any damage or non-delivery beyond the mailing company's address. Once the UK mailing company has safely received the parcel it is no longer my responsibility.
Why buy new? Buy vintage, and help protect the planet. You're rescuing vintage pieces for future generations. Also, please don't bin my packaging - save, re-use and recycle. Thank you.
I use large bubble bubble-wrap with strengthening card and sturdy cardboard boxes. I often double box for safety and I re-use old newspapers to fill any gaps. I have been selling on Etsy for over five years and know and trust my packing. Jewellery is posted in small sturdy cardboard jewellery boxes, in a mailing bag. (Please re-use or recycle any packaging!)
UK free postage is factored into all my prices... I think UK customers like to see an upfront price including postage with no hidden surprises. Sorry I can't offer free post worldwide.
