The heat of the day fizzles and fades; the sky cools to a velvet midnight black and the stars begin to wink awake, one by one. The fantastic Mr fox goes silently about his business as the full moon illuminates his way.

Open edition.

Inspiration: I heard that foxes like to dance, dance under the moonlight. But don't know, I've never seen one dance. It might be a dog, looking out for voles to eat. It might be a vixen returning to her cubs. Or maybe it's a kitsune that's returned to fox form after dancing all night (if one were to mix mythologies this could well be true)

Process: The landscape is composed of chiyogami inspired patterns, each one representing something that words alone cannot. In that way, it's a symbolic landscape, an nocturnal vista, a landscape of the unconscious. One our vulpine friend traverses with ease. Either way, it's pretty picture for anyone to enjoy however they wish to interpret it.

Make it a gift for a friend, a magical mystic friend who loves nature- especially if that friend is you. Frame it for a wall; post it to a friend; pop it in a scrapbook. Don't forget to see my matching hare and deer.

Size: Printed by me on acid free, smooth, A5 heavy weight cartridge paper. A5 is 148 x 210 mm (5.8 x 8.3 inches). Fits standard sized frames (either with an A5 aperture or an 8x6 one frames are not provided)

Materials: I use water based (eco friendly) acrylic inks in contrasting black and red orange to make a unique decorative small artprint. All materials are archival to last as an heirloom into the future.

Important stuff: My screenprints are hand printed and hand registered by eye and unlike computer generated images are subject to slight variations that make each a unique piece of art.
