This is a beautifully cosy, snug shawl for crisp autumn days and long winter nights. It uses simple stitches to create a classic crochet design. This written PDF pattern is suitable for beginners. A chart is included. It is written in UK terms but US terms are given in the abbreviations and chart.
In issue 98 of Mollie Makes this is known as Nordic Noir but I have come to know it as Hinterland. And when I can’t decide if that fits; I just call it the Giant shawl. It's huge!
It looks best using a yarn with character, try something with a nepp or interesting flecks.
You will need 3x MC 2x CC of King Cole Fashion Aran.
