UNIQUE DESIGN
Our wooden toy king is an artistically carved figurine which stands out from its flat counterparts with more sculpted details but is just as sturdy. It is more realistic, but at the same time it is stylized and leaves a lot of room to a child’s fantasy - to imagine emotional states and add details. His clothes are in deep royal colours, in the color scheme of our queen toy. Its size and style match our prince and princess figurines, as well as the other toys from our people collection. We will also be adding more fairy tale characters to our toy collection.

LITERATURE ENRICHED PLAY
A king is an archetypal character in many folklore and authored tales from all over the globe. Reading / listening to fairy tales is essential for children as it answers deep psychological needs and teaches important life lessons. It also serves as the foundation for imaginative play, providing a variety of meaningful scenarios to keep children deeply engaged away from screens. It also feeds children’s imagination and inspires children to create their own scenarios. This immensely expands their verbal repertoire and competence.

EDUCATIONAL AND THERAPEUTIC VALUE
Our toys are designed to fit different educational philosophies for different purposes. As they allow for children to imagine a variety of emotional states and to include them in diverse scenarios, they could be used by psychologists in play therapy and as diagnostic tools. They could be a useful prop in speech therapy.

ETHICALLY PRODUCED
We use eco-friendly certified wood produced in the EU. We work in the EU and follow all industry and business regulations. We do not exploit people, and we offer you products designed and handmade by our team of two good friends, working in our little workshop.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not soak in water. Wash each toy separately with soapy water with some vinegar. Rinse as quickly as possible. Immediately dry with a towel. Let air dry.
For disinfection you can use rubbing alcohol. We recommend spiritus aethylicus for medical purposes.
Do not put on or near heaters. Do not keep under direct sunshine for too long. Moisture and heat can cause warping and cracking in wood, so wooden products should not be exposed to these for too long.
When toys feel too dry, they need to be oiled and / or waxed. We recommend linseed oil and beeswax waxes. Other oils and waxes could be used too: mineral oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil. Vegans can use carnauba wax instead of beeswax.

SEND THE PRODUCT BACK TO US WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY. Please, make sure you pack carefully to prevent it from damaging. Use the original packaging and return the labels as well. Keep proof that you have sent the item so that you can trace it and know when we have received it

Customers pay for the shipping of returned items.

If you have used the shipping methods we offer to receive the product from us, we will fully refund the shipping costs we paid to send you the item. If you have used a more expensive one than the standard one offered by us, you will bear the difference in cost between the two types of delivery.

TRACKING YOUR PACKAGE. We will provide you with a tracking number when we ship the item, so that you can follow your package online.

WRONG ADDRESS. If you notice you have given us a wrong address, contact us as soon as possible to provide us with the correct one. If the product ships to a wrong/nonexistent address, the package will most likely eventually be returned to us, and in certain cases we might have to pay for the return postage. If you want us to send you the package again to another address, you need to pay shipping charges again OR place a new order if you do not want to wait for the original package to be returned to us.

UNCLAIMED MAIL
If you fail to receive the product, we will refund the price of the product once we receive it back, but we will not refund the shipping costs.

LOST DELIVERY
In case of lost delivery, we will send you a refund once the postal service provider confirms the loss. Please, contact us if you believe your order has been lost.

PRODUCT DAMAGED IN SHIPPING
If your item is damaged in shipping, please take clear photos of the item in damaged packaging and send them to us. We will discuss with you whether / how to send the item back, and we will send you refund.

Oh this was so lovely to receive and to hold - a good size for a toddler and finally rounds out our Goodnight Gorilla bunch. Delivery did take a while to arrive but was reasonably priced and worth the wait.
