"Constellations: Pegasus" - Art Print
Part of a series of digital art prints that use real astronomical data to construct landscapes with starry skies.
This one shows Pegasus cantering along the hilltops. One end of Pisces can be seen above Pegasus's back, and a part of Aquarius above his head. The bright star just above the hill towards the West is Altair which forms part of the constellation Aquila.
Every dot in the sky is a real star. This particular view of the sky can be seen from 45°S 135°W on 20th March at 9pm UTC looking North West.
Since I've included stars of magnitude 10 or brighter, it contains many stars that are not visible to the naked eye which can only usually be seen through binoculars or a telescope.
Printed on 275gsm Canon PP-201 paper using Canon ChromaLife 100+ inks.
Frame and mount are not included.
