We can change the lay out to suit your needs - just ask! Maybe you would like a double height cubby hole at one end to suit welly boots? Or maybe double height at either end with 4 cubby holes in the middle? No problem. We are always happy to help.

For us, "reclaimed" doesn't mean "rough and ready". All our materials are lovingly sourced, thoroughly smoothed, sanded and treated prior to sale, ensuring user friendly shoe rack bench seats that are fit to stand the test of time. Reclaimed timber has had a previous life which we celebrate instead of hiding. This means beautiful characteristics such as nail holes, small splits and saw marks - all add genuine character to your shoe rack bench seat! All new timber we use comes from sustainably managed, FSC certified sources.

We offer 8 colours as standard, shown in last picture; Railings, Downpipe, Hague Blue, Stiffkey Blue, Cooks Blue, Sage Green, Skimming Stone and Alabaster. Please specify which you would like in the Personalisation section when ordering.

If you would like another colour, you can add our 'Custom Paint' listing to your order and we are more than happy to get any colour from any brand for an additional £20. Our shoe rack bench storage seats are finished using several coats of Liberon Black Bison Wax, approved by the Guild of Master Craftsmen, to both nourish and stain the reclaimed wood. This industry standard wax has EN71 Part 3 approval - the safety level required for use on children's toys - toxin free and safe for all the family. See second last picture and please specify when ordering which finish you would like.

As standard our benches are 45cm high and 33cm deep. The internal depth is 29cm, a full height compartment is 36cm and the split level height is 17cm. All dimensions are fully customisable - please enquire for a bespoke quote.
