Solid 9ct WHITE Gold nose ring, hoop with ball for secure and discrete placement. This white gold nose ring has been handmade in my studio in Belfast.

This white gold nosering is made from 0.5mm/26Gauge half hard wire and are the thinnest on Etsy. The ring measures 8mm in diameter and is a comfortable fit for most nose piercings, if you are unsure this will fit you please measure from your piercing to the bottom of the nostril. To finish them, the rings have been gently hammered smooth, burnished & polished for durability.

Simply bend sideways slightly to thread through your ear, nose or other piercing, then bend back into shape to wear.

Other sizes are also available and can be made to order. If you require a different size please leave a note at the checkout.

I strongly believe in ethical jewellery (or ethical jewelry, if you prefer). Like all of my jewellery, this thin nose ring is made in my studio which I maintain to the best standards possible for ethical jewellery / ethical jewelry. Some of the measures I take include

*Everything is handmade by me, including this handmade nosering.

*Made with recycled silver or gold so not to add to environmentally damaging mining, unfair trade and work practices.

*The work is cleaned with natural plant based acids so to not add pollutants into the water table.

*Traditional jewellery making practices use a lot of animal hyde in the processes, all of our tools and practices have been adapted to remove this exploitation from our manufacturing process in my little studio based in the heart of Belfast.

*None of our polishes contain tallow and are therefore vegan.

*We never use bone in our casting process

*Even our packaging has been made from locally recycled paper and our "plastic slips" are compostable as they are made from starch

Oxidisation or tarnishing is perfectly natural and over time it happens with all silver due to oils on the skin.

The rate at which it naturally oxidises varies per person due to their own natural pH level.

It happens on all jewellery items but larger items tend to tarnish at a slower rate because the larger surface area doesn't contact the skin as much and the movement of a bracelet for example buffs against fabric daily which slows the process. There are many commercial jeweller chemical cleaners out there but an eco hack is to leave the item in some ketchup overnight and then rinse in the morning
