Item details

Vintage from the 1960s

Dimensions

Length: 1.6 Inches; Width: 1.5 Inches

Pretty brooch depicting a realistic flower - probably dianthus chinensis or similar, commonly known as 'pinks'! Five carefully painted enamelled petals with the characteristic serated edges, plus a faux pearl centre. Set against gold tone long leaves and green enamelled leaves or buds, with three further small faux pearls. It would make a lovely gift for a gardener or flower lover!

This pretty brooch dates from the 1960s. Fastens with a safety clasp. An unsigned quality piece with a pleasing three dimensional feel.

Measurements:
1.5 inches wide
1.6 inches long

Very Good condition - There's a touch of the green enamel paint on one of the gold leaves that probably isn't supposed to be there, and a similar but much smaller green smudge on the petals. See photos, but this flaw is even less noticeable in real life.
