5 out of 5 starsThe pattern itself is cute, but the printouts are very hard to follow. They are small (not blown up to take up the whole printed page at all), there are no guiding through-lines to show you where the 10 or 20 line is throughout the colors, and there is no overlap of the pattern sections from one page to another, so it's difficult to tell what lines up with what across the pages. I'm a pretty advanced cross-stitcher with good eyes, and I found these pattern pages difficult to follow (which led to a couple of mistakes that took time to undo and redo).

Absolutely love the Stewart tartan pattern. Easy to follow! Requested 2 more tartans she didn’t have listed, and the communication and customer service has been outstanding! Looking forward to purchasing more from this shop!

Sadly I can't recommend this pattern. It contains several errors and woefully scant instructions on the making up. I had to watch loads of YT videos to do this. Shame, because my finished doll looks great, but that's because I used other sources and so it took ages.

Thank you for your review. You contacted me a couple of times about this pattern & I tried to help you, explaining some rows in great detail. You stated the pattern has lots of mistakes, it doesn't, even after explanation to you. The pattern is for Advanced knitters & written as a standard pattern & not a tutorial. The pattern contains K, P, K2tog, P2tog & a simple picot stitch, nothing in the pattern requires YT videos. The inclusion of beads is not possible with a crochet needle, as I explained, you just slide the bead from the back to the front of the work, so it finishes at the front. It was clear you were having great difficulty with the pattern, so I gave you a full refund last week. I wish you had put a photo of your finished doll on here, I would love to see your work. Many Thank Jo
