I learned how to do basic crochet when I was young and recently picked it up again as a hobby. This is actually the first pattern I decided to try to read, and I am so happy with how my practice hat turned out! Planning to make one of these for a friend as she welcomes her new baby in July and I think she is going to love it! I had so much fun using this pattern and for not really knowing how to read a pattern before starting, this was surprisingly easy for me to do! Took about 2-3 hours for me to work up a 9-12 month hat and large ears. For practice, I did use a much larger hook than called for so it was easier for me to see my stitches, which is how I ended up with a looser, 9-12 month size while following the 0-3 month instructions haha! So excited to work on the final product! I highly recommend this pattern!

Lovley bonnet, very good pattern! I used two strands of DK yarn and it turned out great.

This pattern was very easy to understand with multiple sizes! I love this because I have such a hard time keeping hats on my son in these cold Wisconsin winters, this one has yet to fall off! It’s a bonus with how cute and adorable he looks! Thank you!
