Chakras are energy centres in our body in which energy flows through in balance with each other. An unbalanced energy field may cause a blockage in the flow of energy. Different colours are related to each chakra, and therefore you can adapt stones to the chakra according to the colour of the crystal to help with each energy point.

CARE TIPS
>Store your beads securely when not in use. We advise to store them in the hessian pouch provided or in a safe place such as an altar.
>Do not wear the beads in water (sea, swimming, shower etc.)
>Avoid tugging or excessive strain on the mala.
> Cleansing: The most popular way to cleanse a mala is by burning white sage, known as 'smudging'. It is a tradition that dates back thousands of years. Carefully light the sage and allow a stream of smoke to rise upward onto the mala. Many also like to smudge the area in which they meditate. Some also use the smoke of incense to cleanse a mala. It is preferable to use one that is made from natural materials, scents such as sage, frankincense or sandalwood.
> Charging: You can charge your beads by leaving them in sunlight or moonlight for a couple of hours. The energy of the sun and moon is said to clear the beads, returning them to their natural vibration. However, be mindful of how long you leave the stones in direct sunlight as heat and too much light may cause damage or fading. Please also consider the possible cause of fire, do not leave charging stones unattended.
>Cleaning: If your mala becomes dirty or is in need of freshening you can use a soft microfibre cloth to polish the stones. Avoid using cleaning products as these may damage the natural surface of some stones. Do not soak sandalwood or rudraksha as soaking may cause permanent damage. Spot clean only with a damp cloth.
>Please take into consideration that a worked mala will have a shorter life than one worn as a necklace.
