Because we all carry with us a little bit of each place that we have lived in for a while, my illustrations are a perfect gift for travellers and expatriates. My style offers a new perspective of seeing things and allows observers to encapsulate their own memories. What they see is completely up to them.
My name is Matej, I'm from Trencin (Slovakia) and living in London. On weekends, I become an independent artist. My style is inspired by artists like Johannes Itten, Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso or architects Josep Maria Subirachs, Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid. However, the biggest influence on me is coming from artists, illustrators and calligraphers whom I follow on Instagram.
