I am very excited to bring out my first pattern, the Stitch and Go Case. Being a keen cross stitcher I wanted something that I could jut grab and take with me. It needed to hold my chart, fabric, hoop, floss and scissors etc. With that all in mind I came up with this!

2 large side pockets big enough to store a 7” embroidery hoop and your fabric,
20 individual pockets for floss,
A handy vinyl zip pocket
2 slip pockets.

This case is really all you need to carry your stitchy project on the go.

This listing is for the pattern ONLY and is not a physical product.

Final dimensions: Open 18" x 11", Closed 9" x 11"

Pattern includes step by step photos and directions.
Have fun with this fat quarter friendly pattern, use supplies you have already. No elastic or button? No problem swap for some ribbon or bias binding. You can go as scrappy as you like, feature some of your favourite fabrics behind the vinyl, and dig into your stash for those fabrics you don’t mind hiding for the pocket backs. Use one favourite print for the exterior or showcase your favourite scraps, those orphan quilt blocks or hexies!

The pattern was easy to follow. I made a few adjustments to make it work for what I needed. I added an outside zipper and I made the bag larger. I also turned the bobbin holder sideways so that I could see the labels on the bobbin easier while sitting and stitching. I enjoyed making this cross stitch organizer.

I really enjoyed making this pattern! I changed the closure because I had some snaps lying around, and I really like how it turned out!

Love, love, love this project holder! The instructions were easy to follow and color photos very helpful. I made some modifications to the case to better fit my needs (made it a little larger to hold an additional 10 floss bobbins, and added a zipper). Plus I made a additional floss bobbin insert for when I'm working on REALLY large projects.

Definitely a project for an advanced beginner. It took me several hours to cut out the many pieces and then assemble the finished project. Very happy with the finished project. This was my first time sewing on vinyl. The paper “trick” was really a lifesaver.
