Make a statement with this chunky sophisticated take on a classic style open heart ring, that fits very comfortable on the finger.

I have used Argentinium silver square wire for the design of this ring. I handformed the heart shape, then soldered, pickled and then annealed the heart. Next I created the shank using domed silver wire, and soldered this to each side of the heart. I then cut and filed each end ready for joining with solder, and again pickling and annealing ready to shape the joined shank and heart on a round mandrel. Finally using my trusty half round file, I spent what seemed like hours filing and cleaning to the sparkly finish as seen.
