This is a really quick, easy pattern. I was hoping to make my son a bear hoodie before he is born, so I'm really glad I found this. My due date is in 4 weeks, and the timing was perfect! Do keep in mind though that this pattern only has a photo of the finished item at the beginning and a few photos of front post double crochet and back post double crochet. A lot of patterns on Etsy have photos of almost every step of the pattern. This pattern is just written instructions, but if you follow them, the hoodie should come out just fine. I didn't have any trouble. I did veer from the instructions a bit in regards to the gauge. My gauge was a bit smaller than the designer's and instead of going up a hook size as suggested, I crocheted the largest size (6-12 months), thinking it would end up the size I wanted (0-6 months). It worked!
It's the first baby hoodie I crocheted, it easy, the pattern was easy to read I made the first one in multi colour , then I had to make another , I enjoyed it that much , I am just putting the border on I made it in white with a pink boarder . I will keep buying , from etsy , the pattern is ready to down load immediately, easy to follow, its above and beyond my expectations
My cardigan looks ace, and I made it in three hours! Great pattern, photos are clear and so easy without looking simple. The ears are a nice touch, I might try cat ones next.
I ordered this to make for my nephew. Worked up quickly easy to follow. I had so many people asking if I’d make one for their kid I had to go and buy the toddler patterns.
