Men's Crochet Pattern, Diagonal Fade T-Shirt
Skill Level: Advanced
This crochet pattern is for a man’s short sleeve T-Shirt, with a striking diagonal fading design. As the pattern is asymmetrical AND a random fade, every line is different and the back is reversed so the two halves meet. This is not a “quick” make, but the effort will be well rewarded.
The pattern uses the counting method to describe colour changes. All shaping and pattern counts are fully described. It is assumed the maker is already familiar with colour changes in rows and at the end of rows, as these are not described in the pattern.
The pattern comes in five sizes, (Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL) and the pattern for each size has been adjusted specifically for the fit. Therefore, you will receive five pdfs with one pattern, one pdf for each size.
The pattern uses DK cotton, shown here in black and white
Small to XL – 7 x 50g White, 5 x 50g Black
XXL – 8 x 50g White, 5 x 50g Black
Equipment Needed (not supplied)
4 mm Crochet Hook
Large eye darning needle
Stitch Markers
Scissors
I have listed this pattern as "advanced" because of shaping and pattern techniques.
The instructions include lots of detail for stitch placement. There is a lot of stretch in the finished item, so the sizing is only approximate. You are purchasing the .pdf pattern only, which includes full written instructions. You will receive five versions of the pattern, one for each size.
Instant download link provided after payment. This can be found on your confirmation page. You can also access your pattern at anytime in the "purchases" link found under the "you" link above.
