Pink and Red Hollyhocks.
This is an original watercolour painted in a fine botanical style
I painted these hollyhocks from flowers picked in my garden.
Hollyhocks are renowned for their robustness and ability to survive through all weather conditions, which has certainly been true this summer. In fact, they seemed to reach for the skies at over 8 feet tall. They are also a symbol of abundance and fertility, mirrored by the multitude of seeds they provide.
The painting has my signature on the front, along with the name of the flower.
Painting size is 41 cm x 29.50cm. 16" x 11.50" and comes with a crisp white mount, total size 16 " x 20 "
