My first ever pattern is finally here! Thank you for all your requests and lovely messages for this little vest. I am so happy to share it with you and I cannot wait to see all of your creations!

OVERVIEW:
Language - English
Level - Beginner
Techniques Used- knit, purl, 1x1 rib, cast on, cast off, and k2tog. Knit up in 2 panels, seamed together and completed with a neckline and armholes that are knit along the edge of the vest.

SIZING:
Pattern includes ONE SIZE and measures bust all-around 86cm, length 44cm. Due to the style of the vest, it fits well for sizes S,M and L. Pictured also on an XS for reference. However, if you would like to make another size or use a different weight of yarn, instructions and measurements are included.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Yarn: Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool (200g/80m per ball, 100% Wool)
2 yarn balls for the body of the vest
1 yarn ball for the accents
NOTE: you could choose another yarn brand, make sure they are a similar weight and length to Crazy Sexy Wool and the yarn is knit with 12mm needles.

I have collected a list of affordable yarn options for this vest also and I would be very happy to send it for anyone interested ;)

TOOLS REQUIRED:
12mm(US17) straight needles
10mm(US15) circular needles (around 80cm long)
Knitters safety pins
Approx. 5mm crochet hook or tapestry needle
Scissors

TENSION SWATCH
Approx 8 sts and 10-11 rows to 10cm (4’’) using a stocking/knit stitch with 12mm needles.

Very easy knitting pattern! I used the JoAnn brand K+C "Cozy" yarn which is such a great alt to Crazy Sexy Wool! I also added some length so it was quite as cropped which was super easy as well.

This was my first ever knitting project, I was a total beginner. The design is simple yet incorporates some real basics of knitting. Nothing too intimidating, it was perfect for a learning beginner. I did add some length to the body bc I’m quite tall, 5’10”. The pattern is very easy to tweak in that way. I even used a slightly thinner yarn and needle, but just went off the measurements. So fun!

This pattern is so great!! I am not a very experienced knitter but was wanting to try something a little more challenging. The pattern is easy to follow with really helpful video suggestions for working up the vest! Since it uses such a chunky yarn, you really can see your progress faster which is always a plus! The vest is super cute, I made some mistakes but that was more related t my inexperience, even so I ended up with something I love to wear and I will definitely be making another one!
