Based on the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:21 “for where your treasure is, there Your heart will be also.”
This ceramic tile has a mini ‘naive’ painting of flowers in acrylic paints, which gives a nice texture, and then sprayed with a clear protective sealant.
The tile can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, when dusting your house, but don't immerse in water.
The tile is hung on black organza ribbon, which is fixed to the back with powerful adhesive and the back is covered with a domestic wallpaper.
The tiles I use are from a batch that was unwanted and about to be disposed of from a builders yard. Builders can only use tiles that are perfect. (I can’t see anything wrong with these, but they weren’t considered up to scratch by the builders’ standards) But this is what Miss Maisie’s Wee Shop is all about - I love to use the discarded things, the unwanted, the broken, and turn them into something lovely - It’s a reflection of what Jesus does in the lives of people!
