Digital file to make these adorable fabric leaves strung on a garland of lights to make a cosy, hygge decoration for your home during Autumn, Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Samhain.

This DIGITAL VERSION of my Autumn Leaves Hygge Garland contains full step-by-step instructions with photos to help guide you, plus a leaf template for you to cut out and use. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A DIGITAL FILE AND NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT. The PDF file is available for download as soon as payment is made.

Autumn is my favourite season and I love to make these little leaves using scraps of vintage fabrics to decorate my home. I wanted to add a little extra cosiness with the twinkling lights - you can use them as the string of your garland or simply add the lights and leaves to a bowl or vase as part of your seasonal decor. Get Smitten is delighted to offer you a couple of cute seasonal crafting project kits this year - simple enough for the total beginner but tempting enough for even the most advanced stitch divas! And with supervision this project is suitable for children over 8.

This Digital PDF Download file for my Autumn Leaves Hygge Garland includes:

* Full step by step instructions with photos on exactly how to make your leaves and garland
* Template for your leaf shape - cut out and reuse
* Exact size requirements of each material used

You will need to provide:

* 12 pieces of different fabrics to make 12 individual leaves
* Iron on interfacing
* Backing fabric
* Selection of Autumnal coloured embroidery floss & needle
* Copper wire
* LED lights (2m) with battery pack
* Iron
* Scissors
* Pliers
*Glue stick

Once made, your leaves garland can be strung up above a bed, on the mantle, along the bannister or simply in a bowl or vase for some twinkly cosy night decor. They are also a really lovely addition to a Samhain altar or as a pretty alternative to Halloween decorations. And if you are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner, you can use them to decorate your table.

Really lovely kit. I am a total beginner and managed this (with help from my reluctant better half 😄). The end result is so pretty, and even though we haven’t done it perfect I just love that we made it ourselves and I will enjoy putting this up every autumn.
