Let your candle burn until the melt pool reaches the edge of the jar each time. This is extremely important for the first burn. This will ensure you get the maximum life and scent throw out of your candle. 1-2 hours usually does the trick. We recommend you don't exceed 3 hours for each burn cycle, as at that point, you are just wasting wax. And no one wants to do that! Always be sure to never exceed 4 hours for safety purposes.

Trim wick to no less than 1/4". Trim a little shorter if needed to maintain a safe flame size.
╎ Wood Wick╎
Trim wick to 1/4" or slightly less. If the flame doesn't seem to be right, blow it out, trim it a little more, and re-light. The wick has to be close enough to the wax or it can't "pull" the wax up properly to burn it.
