WordPress demo content comes in the form of an XML file that is jam-packed full of already set up pages, posts, menus, admin settings, and more. The file is included in your theme files and if you would like your site to look like your theme’s live demo, you can install and setup that file to make it match – A tutorial for this will be arriving shortly.

A ‘Demo Content Import’ usually works best on a blank site, so be careful of that if you already have an up and running website with content and settings, this may override some of your settings!

1. Right-click on the zipped file (.zip) that you downloaded and select 'Extract All'.
2. This will open a pop-up window, for the extraction. You just need to click the 'Extract' button.
3. Your file will start to unzip.
4. When it's finished unzipping, you should then have a new unzipped file with the same name without the .zip format on the end.
5. If you go into that folder, there will be another folder with the same name > go into that folder again, and you should see your files.
6. You can then right-click on any of those files and select 'set as desktop background'.

Voila!

1. Double click on the zipped file (.zip) that you downloaded.
