This listing is for my Crochet Polar Bear Hat PDF PATTERN - please note this is for the PDF crochet pattern only - NOT the actual hat.

This hat is the perfect accessory for a winter day, baby photo shoot, or a trip to the zoo!

This pattern includes complete instructions for 7 sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, Toddler, Child, and Adult. The pattern is 8 pages and contains color pictures.

Materials needed:
- Worsted/Medium Weight yarn
o 1 skein white (I used Caron Simply Soft Yarn in “White”)
o Small amount of black yarn for nose (I used Caron Simply Soft in "Black")
- 1 skein fluffy white yarn (I used Bernat Pipsqueak in “Whitey White”)
o Bernat blanket yarn works as well. I did not like the fur or eyelash yarns as much when I was testing this pattern.
- Size H (5 mm) crochet hook, J hook (6 mm) for large ears only
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
- 2 black buttons for eyes (I used 9/16” buttons for smaller hats and 3/4” buttons for larger hats)

Skill level: Advanced beginner (Basic knowledge of crocheting and working in the round is needed, but I'm happy to help if any questions come up!)

This pattern is written in standard US terms.
Abbreviations and stitches used:
SC = single crochet
DC = double crochet
SC decrease = single crochet decrease
HDC = half double crochet
Sl st = slip stitch
