My bunting is not machine washable but a marked area can be gently sponged clean or hand washed - just ensure its entirely dry before packing away.
If washed it will benefit from being ironed, start with a medium iron and test on a small area before continuing, some of the cotton fabrics will require a hot iron.

Unfortunately none of my bunting is waterproof, it's made from cotton or polycotton and will be fine outside for an event or celebration.
If you choose to decorate your garden with it please bear in mind that a lot of sun exposure may cause fading and depending on the weather conditions the bunting will last months rather than years.

Most of my bunting flags are approx 20 cm at the widest point by 22 cm long. These are stitched on to cotton tape, 4 flags per metre.
