Here you have a selection of professionally made notice boards, made to order in your choice of Sophie Allport fabrics. These make a great gift or feature for any room of the house. Display your certificates, photographs, postcards and reminders by tucking them behind the ribbons or with pins. You have a choice of sizes, orientation, ribbons and buttons so you can truly design your own notice board.

I have been making notice boards for many years now and I run my textile studio full time. The boards are made to a professional standard which means that unlike other similar boards you may see, these are made to be used and to last!

Why buy a Martha’s Bundle notice board?

• I use only grosgrain ribbon, which holds its shape and does not stretch like other ribbons and lace.
• I use careful measurements so that all ribbons are central and square and wrap around the board on the point. This gives a nice balanced look to the finished product.
• Fabric is secured to the correct tension so that there is no puffing or sagging in the fabric.
• Buttons are tightly secured with twine and anchored at the back so do not pop out like some studded boards.
• Boards are supplied ready to hang with string attached. This is by far the best hanging method for these boards (if you use two hanging hooks the board remains level when it is in use).

Sizes

My notice boards can be ordered in 8 sizes and are made using sturdy pine framed cork boards as a backing. They are supplied with the longer dressmaker style pins or just use the ribbons. Please select your size preference from the drop down menu. The 80cm x 80cm size and above are fitted with a fire safe liner and affixed with fire safety labelling.

Ribbons & Buttons

I have many different styles of ribbons and buttons in stock – as you will see from browsing the pictures above. I try to show examples of the ribbons that I think will work best with the fabric, but if you'd like to see another option just let me know. There is no option to select ribbons and buttons in the drop down menu, so just leave a note to seller when you checkout.


Orientation

Please also let me know whether you would like your board to be made and hung in portrait (with the longer edge vertical) or landscape (with the longer edge horizontal). Otherwise I will make in landscape as standard.

Fabrics
The notice boards shown in the images are examples only, your board will vary according to the fall of the fabric. These fabrics have a small print so will not vary significantly from the examples.

Although I have a comprehensive selection of fabrics available, I do sometimes need to re-order fabric which can take up to 5 working days depending on the supplier. If you would like a notice board delivered for a special occasion, please check with me before you commit to buy to ensure that I can ship in time.


Postage

Please note that the free postage quoted is for UK postcodes covered by the carrier My Hermes. There will be a surcharge for some postcodes not covered by the carrier and also for Channel Islands and BFPO addresses. Please contact me prior to purchasing if you would like to know the extra cost as this will vary depending on your location and the size of the board purchased. If not I will forward a request for the additional sum and you will have the option to cancel your order. If you would like a notice board shipping outside the UK please message me for a postal quote.
