This is a kit to make a fabulous pair of Elsie trousers by Sewgirl.
The comfortable trousers are loose fitting, wide legged, with an elasticated waistband at the back and subtle pleats at the front, with big practical side pockets and an optional tie belt.
This is an easy and enjoyable to make pattern, suitable for adventurous beginners to dressmaking, although some previous experience of sewing is recommended.
The kit comes with a pattern in sizes from 8-20 which includes two large format actual size templates on sturdy paper along with an instruction booklet showing you step by step photos about each stage of construction.
The kit includes 2.2m of fabric, enough to make any size up to 20, as well as a piece of elastic, interfacing and a Sewgirl label all packed up in a lovely eco friendly kraft bag.
There are a choice of fabrics for this kit, linen, in a variety of colours and also 8oz washed denim in medium or dark blue indigo. To choose which fabric option you would like, please select from the drop down button.

This kit looks wonderful! It has all I need to make the product and was sent by the seller very quickly. I’m really excited to try it out!
Very happy with the pattern. I’m a beginner first dress I made was the Mildred. This was my first attempt at sleeves. Loved making it!
Very quick delivery. Lovely material and great instructions. Video was very helpful when doing waistband. I haven't made any clothes for over 30 years and this pattern & instructions made it easy. Made in a day and I'm very pleased with the skirt. Will definitely buy another kit from Fiona.
Another lovely pattern from Sewgirl. Have nearly finished making it up, just the pockets too add. Very easy to follow instructions, especially with the you tube video. Confused myself a bit when it came to adding the band, but that was due to rushing and not reading properly. Will reuse pattern again and again, different lengths, fabrics etc. Also nice to try something new (French seams). Good for a beginner.
