My last posting date was 7th December and I can send over proof of postage but it is likely that your letter will arrive in the new year due to the backlog of Mail.

Royal Mail strikes have seen the company prioritise parcels and (in many sorting offices) letters (so that is your cards/ decorations) simply haven’t been delivered in time for Christmas.
