A romantic and playful alternative wedding dress or cocktail dress made from an exquisite embroidered sequin lace featuring delicate gold stars and moons on a champagne tulle. The tailored V-neckline bodice and 1950s inspired tea length circle skirt offer simplicity and a flattering fit and flare silhouette for any figure. The dress is made from a layer of lace over a solid honey coloured pure silk taffeta fabric which is then lined.

This dress is made to order by one of our Brighton based sewers. It can be made in one of our standard sizes or made-to-measure, so please bear in mind that the dress will take approximately 6-12 weeks to make and 1-3 weeks for international shipping, depending on location. For a more acurrate estimate on the timeframe please get in touch. However, if you need a dress for an event sooner than this we do offer an express service so please get in touch and we'll let you know if it is do-able. Alternatively we do have a range of ready made dresses which can be dispatched within a few working days.

SIZE

This dress can be made to order in a range of standard sizes (UK 6-20) or tailor made to measure for an additional £50 (Or an additional £65 if the dress is required in a plus size). We class a plus size as measurements that sit above our standard size 20, in this instance we request that you order a 'Curvy MTM'

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to check your bust/waist measurements against our standard size information before ordering- standard sizes vary depending on where you purchase clothing and we wouldn't want you to be disappointed if the size isn't right for you!

Size UK 6 is made to fit Waist 24”/25" and Bust 31”/32"
Size UK 8 is made to fit Waist 26”/27" and Bust 33”/34"
Size UK 10 is made to fit Waist 27”/28" and Bust 35”/36"

The standard skirt length is 28-30" for tea length, around mid calf.

Overbust (around your chest above your bust - with the tape measure going under each armpit and around your back)

Bust (the fullest part of your bust – taken whilst wearing whatever type of bra you would normally wear under the dress)

Underbust measurement (around the ribcage just under the bust)

Natural waist (it is important that this measurement is taken at the smallest part of your waist which is normally 1 or 2 inches above your belly button)

Low Waist (around the circumference of your belly approximately 1 inch below the belly button)

Shoulder seam to underbust (from the top of your shoulder with the tape measure going over the middle of one breast to the bottom of your bra - this is to make sure that the top of the waistband sits snugly just underneath your bust)

Underbust to Natural Waist (this is to determine the width of the waistband on the dress – the standard width is 11cm/4 inches but the waistband may need to be a little narrower if you are petite or high waisted or a little wider if you are taller or have a long torso)

Back length (from the nape of your neck – the knobbly bit – to wherever it was you took your natural waist measurement)

Arm Scye (This is the measurement that determines the size of the arm holes of the garment- please take this measurement around your shoulder/arm pit.)

Shoulder width (this should be taken straight across the back of the shoulders – from the corner of one shoulder to the corner of the other - without curving the tape measure around the sides of the arms)

Natural waist to the middle of the knee (This will determine the length of the skirt, so if you would like the skirt shorter or longer, please let us know and also take the measurement accordingly)

Upper arm circumference (the fullest part of the upper arm)

Above elbow (the circumference of your arm just above the elbow)

Any extra information you can give us regarding your shape and any issues you commonly encounter in the fit of your clothes will help us ensure a good fit. This might also help us identify any anomalies (inaccuracies) in the measurements you have given us.
