My creative side always wants an outlet so when I took a break from costume designing I started playing with beads at my daughter Sunny's babysitter's house and making fused glass with my mom. We started selling our simple jewelry at the Artists Market in Salt Lake City and a few other local street fairs. I then left my professional teaching job, packed up Sunny and moved back to Olympia to sell my jewelry designs full time! Here I am 13 years later still designing, making and selling jewelry! I have returned to public school teaching but at the high point of my jewelry career I was selling at 25-35 art shows a year, traveling around WA state, Oregon, Idaho and Montana and even selling to over 200 stores. It was amazing that I jumped into an unpredictable passion/profession and it supported Sunny and I for 10 years! Thank you life!! (That's my 16 year old daughter and fiancé in the photo with me.) This shop is from years of collecting and now trying to destash and share the hoard!
