in case you're wondering whose busy little fingers make such creations, I qualified as a textile designer in the mid 90s & have been a designer/maker ever since. I have mixed this with a career in interior design & freelancing as a prop stylist and copywriter working in the UK, France and Sydney, Australia
I'm hugely inspired by the concept of recycling, re-using and re-inventing in my designs. This is partly due to a fascination of the treasures you can find at flea markets, yard sales & auction houses but also due to conscience. There is so much wastage in this world, so many amazing items discarded & so many dull items mass produced. I love the philosophies of 'Make do & Mend" and "waste not, want not" and I do my best to re-use all manner of materials in my designs. I hope you like them
From time to time I also sell selected vintage items that I find along my prop styling adventures

To enable personalised advertising (like interest-based ads), we may share your data with our marketing and advertising partners using cookies and other technologies. Those partners may have their own information they’ve collected about you. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads or impact Etsy's own personalisation technologies, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.
This type of data sharing may be considered a “sale” of information under California privacy laws. Turning off personalised advertising opts you out of these “sales”. Learn more in our Privacy Policy, Help Centre, and Cookies & Similar Technologies Policy.
